Primul Pas
Primul Pas is a crisis pregnancy centre in Romania, started by exWestlake members Helene and Jonathan Tame.
Its mission is to demonstrate the value God places 
on human life by providing counselling, support and advice to people facing crisis pregnancies. Since the ministry was launched in 1998, the team of 3 staff and 20 volunteers have seen 3,500 women come through their centre, and spoken to even more in the maternity hospitals. They also run post-trauma counselling programmes for women who have had abortions, offer a parenting course, and are in high demand for their relationships and sex education programme in local high schools.
A regular offering is taken for this project at Westlake, helping to cover their monthly budget of just CHF 4,500.
