Our History
Westlake Church Lausanne is an English speaking church and was planted by our sister church Westlake Nyon in late 2005. Alan Wilson, pastor of Westlake Nyon, provided the pastoral oversight.
Initially we met monthly, then fortnightly and since the beginning of 2008 we have been meeting weekly.
With Alan’s departure back to Northern Ireland, Martin Slack joined the other elders as Westlake Church Lausanne’s first full-time pastor.
Since it was planted the church has grown in numbers and in addition to the Sunday morning meetings, we now have Sunday school programmes for all ages from crèche to youth, mid-week small groups meeting across Lausanne and surrounding areas, and on Friday nights ReFuel for our young people.
